Village Trek, Snorkelling and Cyclones on Korovou, Fiji, my favourite Island!

Our second Island visit of the week was to Korovou Eco-Resort. We'd previously had two fun filled days at Nabua Lodge and were eagerly awaiting our next two nights!  Our ferry arrived at Korovou at 3:30pm and we clambered into the speedboat to take us to shore. Nabua Lodge, Sawa-I-Lau Caves and Kava Ceremony, Fiji!

The ferry to Nabua Lodge was 4 hours 30 minutes and was horrendous! What better way to spend Steve and I's first Valentines… Continue reading Next stop, Fiji!

The charm of Chiang Mai…

Steve and I arrived in Chiang Mai after our 12 hour night train from Bangkok. Which wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds! We played some cards games, did some crosswords and folded down the beds to catch some Zzz.  When we arrived we jumped into what was supposed to be a taxi (it wasn't)… Continue reading The charm of Chiang Mai…

The wonders of The Beach, Koh Phi Phi…

As the ferry approached Koh Phi Phi we stood out on the deck and marvelled at the view. Miles and miles of endless green and blue water stretched out beyond the Island, with limestone cliffs scattered randomly throughout the sea. Now that, that was what you see in the magazines, online, and in the famous… Continue reading The wonders of The Beach, Koh Phi Phi…
